Rodent Control in Santa Ynez, CA

Green Rodent Restoration serves Santa Ynez from our Santa Barbara office, with poison free rodent control, humane wildlife removal, attic cleanup and restoration, and energy efficient insulation.

Rodent Pressure in the Santa Ynez Valley

Santa Ynez is ranch and vineyard country, and most properties here sit on or beside working land. That means the rodent population outside your house is large, established, and not going anywhere. Barns, tack rooms, feed storage, and outbuildings give them food and shelter year round, and the main residence is simply the warmest, driest building on the parcel.

Properties on larger lots also tend to have long perimeters, detached structures, and mature oak cover, so there are far more ways in than on a typical suburban lot. Wildlife beyond rodents is common too, which is why our crews here handle exclusion and humane removal together rather than treating them as separate jobs.

How We Handle It

We inspect every structure on the property, not just the house, because a barn or garage left open is what keeps re-infesting the home. We remove humanely, seal entry points with steel and mesh rather than foam, and restore any attic or insulation the animals ruined.

We never use rodenticides. On ranch land that matters more than anywhere else, because poison moves up the food chain into the owls, hawks, and barn cats that are doing rodent control for you already.

Ongoing Protection

For properties bordering open ground, one visit is rarely the end of it. Our DART+ program covers the perimeter on a monthly or bi-weekly schedule with rodent activity monitoring, repellent application, and botanical general pest control on the same visit.
