What to Expect During the Service Visit

The actual sealing process involves meticulous work. We use a combination of industry-leading materials, durable, fire-rated caulks for smaller cracks, expanding foam for larger gaps around pipes and ducts, and specialized sealants for attic access points and recessed lighting. Our goal is to create a continuous, airtight barrier between your living space and the attic, significantly reducing unwanted air transfer. This often involves moving existing insulation to access the attic floor and wall top plates, sealing the gaps, and then carefully repositioning or augmenting insulation as needed. Throughout the process, we prioritize safety and efficiency, ensuring minimal disruption to your home. We understand the specific challenges homeowners face throughout the areas we serve, from older homes with unique construction quirks to newer builds that still have overlooked air leakage issues.
